“I have been in pediatrics since 1969, so that’s a long time. My joy is to watch little ones grow up and to assist their parents make wise choices on the children’s behalf, especially where the health and well being of the children is concerned. My personal definition of health includes mental and spiritual well being and so I take my role as “teacher” very seriously and for the most part have fun while I am working. Over the years, I have learned that Mom’s old home remedies make a lot of sense and so have developed some skills in what is known as “Complementary and Alternative Medicine” which basically focuses on wellness rather than sickness. I love what I do and being given the opportunity to work with such a GREAT team as Kennesaw Pediatrics is what I consider a blessing.” Sylvia Babu, MD
