Dr. Long was born and raised in a small farming community in rural Tennessee. He learned the value of hard work, integrity and compassion from his parents and his church. Working his way through college he graduated Summa Cum Laude from David Lipscomb University and was accepted at the University of Tennessee College Of Medicine. After a psychiatry internship at Vanderbilt University he completed his pediatric residency at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Dr. Long has been in clinical practice for nearly two decades. He has extensive experience in Primary and Urgent Care Pediatrics along with psychiatry experience focusing on common problems in children. His special areas of interest are: ADHD, asthma and newborns.
Board Certified Pediatrician by The American Board of Pediatrics, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
