After completing medical school in India, Dr. Vathada worked for 8 years in Trinidad, West Indies, where he fell in love with pediatrics. After relocating to the US, he completed his pediatric residency at the University of Florida and then went on to work at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta for 13 years. He then served at military hospitals in California and Texas before returning to Atlanta to be closer to his grandchildren. Dr. Vathada’s favorite thing about working in pediatrics is the interaction he has with children and their families. According to Dr. Vathada, “I treat every child like I would my own and always strive to do my best.” When he’s not at Kennesaw Pediatrics, Dr. Vathada enjoys gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
