Dr Elizabeth McKinnon was born and raised in Spring, Texas. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University creating her own major in Medicine, Health and Society; a strong focus of this being medical ethics. From undergraduate studies, Dr. McKinnon moved back to Texas where she graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston with a Doctor of Medicine.
Following medical school, she completed her residency in general pediatrics at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, GA. There she was honored with the first place research award for her extensive studies on eosinophilic esophagitis. Soon after graduation from residency, she joined Kennesaw Pediatrics. Though she loves all components of general pediatrics, Dr. McKinnon, is particularly interested in infant care and asthma.
Outside of work, she enjoys ballroom dancing, road trips and trying new restaurants.
Board Certified Pediatrician by The American Board of Pediatrics, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
